My Kind of Book

What I Like.


 Similar to other mediums, my book interests mimic other forms.

My favourite type of genre will always be associated with crime. No real reason, it's just one that interests me. Horror is another and the hybrid genre of both crime and horror is something that really intrigues me. Sci-Fi is another genre that has given me some great memories and some Sci-Fi films are some of my favourites. However, sometimes the Sci-Fi genre can be too ridiculous and lacks focus on character, so for me, it can be hit and miss. I do enjoy other genres too and I'll give anything a try.

Book content, it's got to have a good pace, interesting characters ( I need to care), inciting incident, an unexpected twist that redirects the narrative and most importantly, I want to be surprised!

Books and Me Having read numerous literature, in relation to academia, my desire to read during my studies was never going to happen. However,  I am now in a position to get back to one of my favourite past times...reading.
