Books and Me Having read numerous literature, in relation to academia, my desire to read during my studies was never going to happen. However,  I am now in a position to get back to one of my favourite past times...reading. So, I thought I'd share some of my feelings, thoughts and opinions on the books I have read from this point on. During and post-completion of my research degree the last thing I wanted to do was stick my head into a book. I used to love reading fiction. It was something I could do on my own, wouldn't interrupt other people and most importantly, lose myself in a world created by others. Additionally, reading, like no other medium, allows you to envisage a world in a form unique to you, which I really like. My background, work, research and love revolves around film, TV and music. As I progressed with my studies the way I read books changed. Before I was engrossed in the story but as time progressed I started to see the literature in film/TV form and...
